Often referred to as the ‘Mother River’, Suzhou Creek traces a meandering, graceful arc through the vibrant heart of Shanghai, silently observing the city’s avant-garde Haipai culture that fuses Eastern and Western culture, and traditional and contemporary elements. For generations, this neighbourhood has been a magnet for aspiring artists and leading thinkers from across the country.
